Broker Remit
CIRCE is contracted with the Learning & Skills
Council for West Yorkshire to deliver a Skills Brokerage service
to the Chemical & Bioscience clusters in the sub-region.
The ‘Skills Broker’ service assists companies
with training needs analysis and helps them achieve their
training requirements with funding support at 70%.
The overarching aim is to;

Raise the productivity, competitiveness and
performance of employers; and

improve the employment opportunities of
individuals
Steering
Group
In order to ensure that the brokerage achieves
its full potential CIRCE has established a Steering Group to
guide, inform and support the programme and the Skills Broker
Manager.
The Steering Group contributes to the success of
the brokerage by assisting in the following ways:

Strategic support & valuable insight into cluster skills issues
Ø
Feedback and assessment of changing needs in the sector
Ø
Assistance with promotion and dissemination of the programme
materials to the target audience
